Outstanding article. As I read it I followed the exercise and thought of my own futurist - few names came to mind, Jules Verne and Walt Disney but then I settled on my Dad. He knew the future of his the 5 kids (later seven) was not in Cuba. Lived in 6 countries in 12 years and taught us to jointly embrace diversity and adversity, that one does not exist without the other - in short embrace change! That's the future

Thinking about the MANY ways that we might work to shape the futures we envision -- and learning from those who have done it well -- seems like the key to creating futures we'll be proud to inhabit and pass on to later generations. 🙏
